Intermountain Oil & Gas BMP Project
A searchable database of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for oil and gas development in the Intermountain West. BMPs are state-of-the-art mitigation measures applied to oil and natural gas drilling and production to help ensure that energy development is conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.
Memorada of Understanding (MOUs)
The MOU webpage of the AWG-affiliate Intermountain Oil and Gas BMP Project describes Local Government – Operator agreements that address how oil and gas will be developed in local areas. The website provides links to searchable databases of the agreements and the best management practices (BMPs) incorporated in those agreements and to a stakeholder assessment of MOU processes.
